Crazy Go Nuts, the brand that began with 32 burlap sacks of uncracked walnuts in late 2013, has come a long way. Co-founder Courtney Carini received an email from her father, informing her about the 1200 pounds of walnuts he had picked from their small farm in Lake County, CA. Inspired by a family recipe, Courtney and co-founder David Wolfe decided to expand and create six more recipes. After weeks of trial and error, Crazy Go Nuts was born!

What sets our products apart is the fact that walnuts are a superfood. They are packed with nutrients and are considered one of the healthiest foods you can consume. Our walnuts are neither raw nor roasted. Instead, they go through a steam pasteurization process at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 9 minutes. This ensures food safety without sacrificing the natural qualities of the walnuts.

While you can refrigerate or even freeze our products to extend their shelf life, it is not necessary as long as they are stored in a cool, dark place.
