The roots of Fiorucci date back to the 1850s when Innocenzo Fiorucci, who operated a modest meat shop in Norcia, traveled to Rome each winter to sell Norcinetto, a flavorful dry sausage originating from his hometown. After years of successful sales on the road, Innocenzo eventually relocated to Rome, opening a shop focused on traditional cured meat preparation.
Innocenzo's innovative son, Cesare, expanded on this family legacy by establishing a series of Norcinerie (meat shops in the style of Norcia) that gained popularity in Rome almost immediately. This success solidified the Fiorucci family’s ambition to deliver delicious products to consumers around the world.
To further this goal, Norcinerie partnered with the Campofrio Food Group, a prominent international meat processing entity, allowing the authentic Italian specialties to reach a global audience.
