Red Line

In the ninth volume of the Winds of War series, Red Line, the ongoing WWIII intensifies as North Korean Respected Comrade Chung Hee Bak launches an unexpected assault on the south, specifically targeting South Korea's capital city of Seoul in hopes of swiftly seizing control and pillaging before the Allies can react. Bak's strategy proves successful. Additionally, due to the ongoing battles occurring elsewhere, Bak believes he can maintain control over Seoul and expand his influence from there.

However, American President Alice Dearing has a different agenda. Not only does she resolve to engage in combat with assistance from Japan, but she also intends to occupy the entirety of North Korea until the war concludes and the United Nations can intervene. This audacious plan heavily relies on the U.S. Army's 11th Airborne Division launching an assault from the north, while Japanese marines land on South Korea's east coast, and the country's special forces target strategic locations.

Meanwhile, both Russia and China are covertly and overtly assisting Comrade Bak, seeking to impede the Allies from establishing a foothold in East Asia. The clash of these colossal forces places millions of lives in jeopardy, and nothing is certain, especially for LT. Colonel Mark Axton and the Wolverine Battalion, who serve as the vanguard and face an uncertain future.
